In 2008, Boats4rent started with a clear goal: boat rental had to become easier, more affordable and above all more fun. What started as a one-man business quickly grew into a popular boarding location for Amsterdammers and tourists who wanted to sail themselves. In the early years, the founder did everything himself: from issuing the boats to maintenance, administration, managing the website and answering the phone on the weekend. Later, his wife joined, and now there is an enthusiastic team that provides a pleasant experience on the water with the same dedication.

We do this from the most beautiful place imaginable: the canals. Our mission is to make boating simple, affordable and fun for everyone. Our team
Behind Boats4rent is a small, committed team with a love for sailing and the city. And when you visit us, you will immediately get to know one or two of our friendly service employees. They all live in Amsterdam and know the canals like the back of their hand. Most of them combine their work with us with a study and are at the jetty a few days a week. You will recognize them by their enthusiasm, clear explanations and helpful attitude. Before departure, they will give you personal instructions, so that you can go out on the water with peace of mind. They are also available during your trip for questions or extra support.
